About

Welcome to the neighborhood! Sixty Fourth Circle is a street in Queens that holds a nostalgic connection to Freesia's past. Now we're here in its digital reincarnation: a symbol of community, growth and creation.

Fresh Meadows, Queens

The AMC Theater

This is arguably the most iconic AMC theater in all of Queens. Everyone knew it as the only theater with reclining seats and it quickly became a hotspot for teen loitering.
64th Circle is nestled just behind its walls.

The Q17

This is where I'd get on the Q17 to Flushing Main Street every morning. I'd transfer onto the 7 train and then the 1 to arrive at FIT for a full day of classes.
Total commute time was a little more than 90 minutes one way.

The Halal Cart

Only New Yorkers understand how chicken over rice from a local halal cart can melt all troubles away. Every Queens kid has their favorite intersection for halal. Steps from the Q17 bus stop, Shah's Halal Food was one of mine.
